Blockchain as a Service (BaaS)
Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) is the model in which a provider deploys and operates the network infrastructure, nodes and development tooling, and the client company consumes it without administering it. It lowers the entry cost of a blockchain project. Unknown Gravity provides and operates this infrastructure.
Adopting blockchain technology can be a challenge, especially for companies that don't have the necessary infrastructure or expertise. With Blockchain as a Service (BaaS), we provide a comprehensive and easy-to-use solution that allows companies to integrate blockchain technology into their operations without having to manage infrastructure. Enjoy the benefits of decentralization and transparency, with documented security controls and without complications.
01 / Fast and flexible implementation of blockchain
With Blockchain as a Service (BaaS), companies can implement blockchain solutions in their infrastructure quickly and easily. There's no need to manage servers, networks or software, as everything is managed by blockchain experts, allowing you to focus on what really matters: your business.
What it does not include: BaaS does not hold crypto-assets or private keys belonging to your clients. Providing custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients is a service subject to prior authorization, provided by an authorized entity, not by an infrastructure provider (Arts. 3(1)(16)(a) and 59 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, CELEX 32023R1114).
02 / Scalability and adaptability for your company
Our BaaS service is completely scalable, allowing you to grow as your business does. Whether you need a small solution for testing or a large scale implementation for production, our platform gives you the flexibility to adapt to any need.
03 / Security and compliance
We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, activity logging and verified backups. No provider can guarantee absolute security or the regulatory compliance of your application: we answer for the infrastructure and for whatever is set out in the contract; the obligations specific to your sector and to the use you make of the service remain yours.
Personal data: the immutability of the ledger sits badly with the rights to rectification and erasure, so which data goes on the ledger and which stays off it is decided in the design of each project. Where we process personal data on your behalf we act as a processor, under the contract the law requires (Arts. 16, 17 and 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, CELEX 32016R0679).
04 / Reduction of operating costs
Implementing a traditional blockchain infrastructure can be costly and time-consuming. With BaaS, we eliminate the need for investment in hardware and ongoing system maintenance, allowing you to reduce operating costs and accelerate the implementation of new solutions.
05 / Ongoing support and specialized consulting
We have a team of blockchain experts who provide ongoing support to answer questions, optimize your solution and review how your project is working. Our consulting service guides you throughout the process so that you can get the most out of blockchain technology.
